On Friday, 27 February 2026, the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE), in collaboration with Disseminare Consulting, successfully hosted the maiden flagship programme under ORBIT² – the Executive Education Programme at GIPE.
The full-day intensive workshop (9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.) brought together academia, regulators, and industry leaders for a focused dialogue on the growing significance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in banking operations, supervision, and financial stability.
As India advances towards the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, AI-driven transformation is increasingly shaping the future of the financial sector. The programme explored the foundations required for responsible and effective AI adoption, with discussions centred on innovation, regulatory expectations, operational efficiency, and long-term systemic resilience within the banking ecosystem.
