GIPE's outreach ecosystem serves as a bridge between academia and society. Through DGRD, NSS, workshops, conferences, seminars, and special lectures, the Institute promotes knowledge dissemination, community engagement, intellectual exchange, and sustainable development while advancing its commitment to public service and social impact.
These initiatives create opportunities for collaboration among students, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and communities, extending the impact of academic knowledge beyond the classroom and into society.

Research, Training & Extension Activities
The Centre focuses on issues relating to sustainable village development and village transformation. Through research, training, and extension activities, it seeks to create a connection between villages and educational institutions by utilizing the academic resources available within colleges and educational institutions.

The NSS unit undertakes initiatives focused on community service, public awareness, youth engagement, health and social welfare, collaborating with government agencies, public institutions, and community stakeholders.
In an effort to create awareness about Road Safety, Accident Free Roads as well as prevention of Corona, the Institute collaborated with Pune Police, Traffic Department. The NSS volunteers of the Institute performed street plays at various important cross roads in the city on January 26, 2021, the Republic Day. Importance of usage of helmets and masks, importance of zebra crossing, seat belts, no drink drive and information about accident insurance scheme, vaccination for Corona were communicated to the citizens of Pune through these street plays and display of banners and flex.
