About SWAYAM
SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active–Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) is a programme initiated by Government of India and designed to achieve the three cardinal principles of Education Policy viz., Access, Equity and Quality.
Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are free online courses available for anyone to enroll. MOOCs provide an affordable and flexible way to learn new skills, advance your career and deliver quality educational experiences at scale. The primary objective of the SWAYAM portal is to help the disadvantaged students of India get quality education free of cost. Additionally, the courses offered through this platform reduce the gap among students by including everyone in the digitalisation of education.
